A Big Question
by Willadene

Ever since Cain killed Abel people have chosen to kill each other.

Today, it continues in mass.

As I viewed my TV's images of death and destruction yesterday and today, it appeared to me to be a senseless and heinous act.

Today my heart grieves for the loss of so many people, for their children, for us.

Who could have done this? I hear many answers. Some say Iran. Some say an Islamic sect.

My question is, why would they choose to kill their brothers? Did we not all descend from Adam and Eve? Is not Abraham our ancestor? I know if one is Islamic, Abraham is your ancestor. If you are Israeli, Abraham is your ancestor. If you are Christian, do you not follow the Christ? Is not his ancestor Abraham also? Why do you choose to kill your brothers? Why?
