The Skateboard Showcase
Perfect moment
once there was nothing to me
and then you came walking along
i watched you as you fell
and deep within me i had to help
it was something in your eyes
that stirred me deep inside
I ran as though you were a queen
and crouched to meet your face
spoke words as softy as i could
"would you like any help up?"
i held your hand finger to palm
the perfect moment in time
gazing up in true screen romance
as your hand and mine touched that way
i caught your eyes and was entranced
you did the same and seconds passed
but in those seconds something more
occured between us; an everessence
an essence that has long been around
something you can't touch or grab
but a feeling way above the rest
love, in case you haven't guessed
true love or not, i do not know
but it has lasted as we will show
remember as i raised my hand
to brush away a single strand of hair
brushed your cheek with tender touch
you said nothing, held my hand in place
tilted your head and smiled aloud
closed your eyes, in our perfect moment
