Searching

Is it possible
to stop loving someone
to turn against the heart
which has given you so much
to even touch, yet not gentle
but rough, to hurt
and inflict pain, to cause sorrow
and let the energy drain
with no remorse
just self-righteousness
probably thinking it's a bliss
not knowing how much pain was caused
just continuing on a road
with nothing to gain
and everything to lose
Yet, freedom may be the answer
to start a search
for the unknown longing
deep inside
which words could never say.
