We All Fall Down
by Erica
Ring around my finger.
Pocket full of promises,
broken and trampled like roses
in the garden of misery.
Your eyes twinkling like the stars,
I wonder what you think you are
so far away like a memory.
Your emotions spun wildly
and blurred like the
colors in a merry-go-round.
Heart to heart, fire to fire,
ashes to ashes.
We all fall down.
