Artistry in the Garden
The Boston Flower Show is the third largest flower show in the world, and the largest indoor flower show in the world. Each year that I've been going to it, it seems to get better and better.
This year, the theme was "Artistry in the Garden", and this theme was brought to all of the exhibits. In addition to the amateur and professional exhibits, the Boston Flower Show has a Preview Party to kick off the show the night before the show officially opens. This fundraiser supports MHS programs.
Special programs, like Home Gardeners Night and Garden-to-Gourmet night and a Children's Festival are held, also.
Exhibitors are judged, and an Awards Ceremony held.
There are lecture and demonstration series, The Garden Marketplace, a member booth and lounge, and experts all over the place!
Now, on to the flowers!
