Clickfree Backup Discs
Backing up music files used to involve dragging them and dropping them onto another medium. It was time consuming but it did the trick. Those days are gone with the new Clickfree Automatic Backup DVDs. Simply insert a DVD into your recorder and the integrated software searches your computer for all your music files. You have the option of pointing it to specific locations, if you have your files spread out over different drives.
I instructed the program to also check my external hard drive, which contains countless files. That has been my backup for ages, but now I feel more confident knowing that the files are also backed up on a removable disc. Disc spanning is part of the program, so when the software noticed I had more files than it would take to fill up one disc, it informed me that two discs would be necessary if I wanted to back up all the files. No problem. There are three discs in the set.
When the program was finished with the first disc, a message popped up telling me to remove that disc and insert another. In just a couple minutes, and I do mean a couple minutes, all my music files were safely backed up on the DVDs.
Now, if I have a computer malfunction, I only need to insert the discs and select “restore” and the software will automatically restore the files back to my computer. There is also the option to listen to the files. The software will let you know on which disc is the file you want to hear. Everything is automatic, easy, and fast.
Backing up your office files is also now just a matter of one, two, three. Simply insert the Clickfree Office Backup DVD and it will do all the work. You can select the file types you want to back up, and even add any that are not included in the software. The best part is you can also select specific items to back up, like your spreadsheets, text documents, email, address book and many more.

Actually, for anyone who uses their computer, all of these items are must-haves. They are quick, easy to use, and provide more than just back ups. They provide peace of mind. I feel more confident now that I know my files are stores on a separate DVD and ready should something go wrong.
