Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000

Is it time for a new mouse? The Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 might be just what you’re looking for. This optical mouse slides smoothly on almost any surface, and because it’s an optical mouse, it doesn’t have a wheel on the bottom that gets clogged with lint and slows down the mouse. Those old mice are dinosaurs, so if you still have one it’s time to join the modern world. And this optical technology is the highest definition to date. It’s light years ahead of the ones from a year or two ago.

This mouse has three buttons. The left, the right, and a magnifier. For most of us, this is something we never ever considered. But you’d be surprised how handy a magnifier is. Think about the times you want to see the details of a photo, or something hidden in a website. With the magnifier every detail is enlarged, and you can control the size of the magnifier window. Of course, you have the option of disabling the magnifier, or you can set the button to perform another task. Every button can be personalized to do whatever you want it to do. Perhaps you would like the third button to close the window, or double-click, delete, copy, paste or maximize or minimize a window. The buttons are programmable to do whatever you would like. It’s like being able to create your own mouse and have it work for you, not vice versa. How refreshing is that?

The wheel on top can also be set to do whatever you would like it to do for you. Most people have the wheel set to scroll, but if you don’t need to scroll you can set it to perform another function. And, the icing on the cake with this mouse is the wheel is tilt-able. It can not only scroll vertically, but horizontally as well. The scrolling will react to how fast you roll the wheel too. Yes, you can disable any or all of these functions but try them out and you might find you scroll horizontally more than you think.

The mouse is designed for easy gripping and performance. It cradles the palm of your hand and is easy to grip. The Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 tracks so smoothly it will surprise you. Perhaps you think a mouse is just a mouse. Well, you’re wrong. Take this new mouse out for a test drive and see how much easier it makes your computing tasks.

The Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 comes with a USB connection as well as a PS/2 adaptor and is designed for Windows XP Pro/Home/Media Center/Tablet PC/ and Windows 2000. And, it is also designed for several Mac OS versions! The IntelliPoint software is included. With the symmetrical design, left and right handers will find this is one mouse that fits everyone, and everyone’s personal computing needs. Look for special deals. You can find this mouse for under $20.
