P.I. Protector Mobility Suite from ImagineLAN

This handy little program for Windows XP/2000 users provides security while on the move. Install it on a portable USB, FireWire or PC Card drive (Flash, mini hard drive, etc.) and you’re ready to surf the web on any computer with privacy.

Let’s say you put it on a USB Flash drive. These are so small and portable you can carry them in your pocket. Then, whenever you have the drive plugged into a USB slot on any computer you can surf around while protecting your personal privacy because all information will be diverted to the portable flash drive and not the computer. Therefore, when you unplug the device, your information goes with you leaving no trace of your activities on the computer. You’ve been stealth!

For some of us, the best part of this suite is the portable email ability. With Mobile Email, you can take your Outlook or Outlook Express with you wherever you go. Let’s say you go visit your cousin Sarah in Dallas for a week and you don’t want to let your emails pile up. Coming home after a long trip can be stressful when you turn on your computer and find you have 400 messages to go through. All the time you’ve spent relaxing in the sun or visiting friends and family gets overridden by the task of having to go through all the messages. With Mobile email, you could just plug the device into any computer while you’re away and get and send email as you would normally. Just access the internet and go about your business as usual. And, then when you unplug the drive, nothing of yours remains on the computer. So Cousin Sarah can’t see anything you’ve done, and best of all, you haven’t taken up any storage on her computer and you haven’t had to install anything either. You’ve been able to email with your regular Outlook or Outlook Express, but you’ve left no trace of yourself behind. Then, when you return home, just use the program to synchronize the device back to your own computer and you’re back to normal, with the addition of the messages you received/sent while away. You can take your email files, account settings, phone book, messages and even your newsgroups with you, all on one little device.

If you have two different computers and want to synchronize the accounts, this program will let you do that too. And, you’ll be able to access all of your email accounts at work and at home. Just plug the device into a desktop or notebook computer or Tablet PC and you’re ready to go. There’s no need to install anything on a new computer. Everything you need is on the portable flash drive and all your settings remain intact.

P.I. Protector is more than just a privacy program. It allows the user freedom to operate on any computer without leaving anything on the computer for others to see. It also allows the freedom to be able to take your entire email accounts with you when you travel. Granted, some times you might not want to take your accounts with you, but in case you do, this is the program that allows you the freedom and flexibility to do so, and do it safely and securely.
