Miche Bag
I’ve always got my eye out for something new, unique and useful. This time I found the perfect item. Women – do you have a collection of purses? Or do you find it frustrating when you have to change your purse to match a different outfit? Or what about trying to find a purse that holds everything you need? I detest purse shopping. I can never find exactly what I want, and if I do then the price is prohibitive. Personally, I cannot see paying $600 for a designer purse.
An imaginative woman in Salt Lake City came up with the perfect solution for all of these dilemmas. It’s called the Miche Bag. Hold onto your hat because I’m going to tell you about this really amazing product. (Do I sound like an infomercial?)
The Miche Bag goes with EVERY outfit. Yep. You read correctly. And this is how.
First, you start off with your base bag, of which you select either black or brown. Now either of these can be used just like they are, but here’s the really great part. They have very strong magnets embedded along the top of the bag. You’re probably thinking, “What are magnets doing on a purse?” Well, that’s where the ingenious part comes into play. There are dozens of “skins” you can purchase to cover the outside of the purse. Each skin simply wraps around the purse and secures itself with the strong magnets. So in about four seconds you can remove one skin and replace it with another one. In other words, you don’t have to change purses to fit your outfit. Your purse changes itself. And they come out with new skins all the time.
Whether you want a simple black faux alligator skin for your business suit, an embroidered flower skin to go along with your jeans and T-shirt, a polka dot skin for that little sundress, an animal print, stripe, leatherette, red, blue, green, yellow, pink, blue, or whatever, all you have to do is to change the skin instead of changing your purse.
And about the purse itself, it is very durable and big enough to hold almost anything you want. There are two pockets inside as well as a zipper compartment. The bag comes with short handles which can snugly fit over your shoulder, but there are longer handles to purchase that turn the purse into a longer shoulder bag.
You’ll probably get hooked on this product like I have. In that case, you can also purchase a closet organizer to hold all your skins. Take it from me, once you try this purse you’ll give away most of your other ones. Of course it’s not a classic evening bag, so you’ll want to hang onto those. But for everything else this is the perfect solution to compliment every piece in your wardrobe. Think about it. One bag. No more taking all your items out of your purse and replacing them in another one just because your outfit changes.
This is the most exciting product I have found since I’ve been writing this consumer column. It’s useful as well as unique. Their website shows all the skins. The Miche Bag is not sold in stores, so you’ll have to go online to check it out.
With the Miche Bag, the next time you purchase a new outfit all you have to do is find a skin that goes along with it. Too bad they don’t make Miche Shoes. Now that would be the icing on the cake!
